La tendenza alla guerra generalizzata marcia a passi da gigante, per la borghesia è l’unica risposta possibile alla crisi strutturale — irrisolta, irrisolvibile e ulteriormente aggravata dall’introduzione della nuova rivoluzione tecnologica dell’IA — del capitalismo 4.0.

I conflitti russo-ucraino, israelo-palestinese ed ora di USA e Israele contro l’Iran esprimono la piena natura di guerra imperialista che li caratterizza. Al di là delle particolarità, delle bandiere e delle ragioni nazionaliste o religiose che vengono agitate dall’una e dall’altra parte, le diverse parti agenti sono elementi del più generale conflitto inter-imperialista che impregna il globo intero, seppure a livelli e su piani diversi, riversandosi con violenza crescente sulla classe sfruttata. 

Crisi economica e imperialismo sono due termini che si alimentano a vicenda, come avevamo già sperimentato con l’interruzione delle forniture petrolifere russe all’Europa e come stiamo vivendo in queste settimane di blocco nel Golfo Persico. 

Nel momento in cui difende i propri interessi, ogni settore di borghesia nazionale va a collocarsi in un campo della spartizione imperialista del mondo, chi decide di appoggiarla sostiene anch’esso, indipendentemente dalle intenzioni, uno dei campi imperialisti. 

Gli aspetti più immediati ed evidenti della partecipazione diretta o indiretta ai processi bellici sono: la propaganda militarista, l’implementazione delle politiche di riarmo, le tendenze autoritarie che portano alla ristrutturazione dei rapporti sociali, la più feroce repressione delle forze di opposizione e di classe — come in Iran — e il sempre più marcato sfruttamento e deterioramento delle condizioni della classe lavoratrice e sfruttata.

È evidente che non può esistere soluzione al progredire della crisi e della guerra rimanendo all’interno del sistema stesso che le produce. Gli interessi di classe sono inconciliabili: da un lato la borghesia come classe dominante, totalmente inserita nella prospettiva imperialista; dall’altra la classe proletaria, destinata a subire i costi ed i sacrifici crescenti che crisi e guerre richiedono, fino a diventare “carne da cannone” come già accade in Ucraina, a Gaza, Libano e Medioriente in generale, in Iran, in ampie regioni del Sud America, negli stati dell’Africa Subsahariana, nell’Asia meridionale. 

Eppure negli ultimi anni qualcosa si è mosso: dal Nepal all’Indonesia, dal Marocco al Kenya, dal Madagascar all’Ecuador, dal Perù alle Filippine, abbiamo registrato importanti moti nella crisi. Sollevazioni di breve durata e dalle prospettive confuse, ma radicali, condotte per lo più dai giovani proletari di quei paesi, mossi dal peggioramento delle loro condizioni materiali. Pensiamo che questi moti indichino la possibilità concreta di un’alternativa, a partire dalla periferia del capitale. 

Le condizioni di classe proletaria sono accomunabili e la rendono un soggetto mondiale, l’unico che possa realizzare prospettive di classe, ossia rovesciare il capitalismo per costruire una società a salvaguardia del genere umano. 

CHE FARE ALLORA?

Combattere il nazionalismo e tutte le altre forme di mistificazione ideologica, patriottica e religiosa con cui i governi giustificano la guerra imperialista. Unire la lotta contro i sacrifici che ci sono imposti a quella contro la partecipazione bellica della “nostra” borghesia.

Non dare nessun tipo di appoggio a nessun “nazionalismo” neppure a quello che si presenta come “anti-imperialismo”, da dovunque provenga, in quanto inevitabilmente parte di uno o l’altro dei campi imperialisti che sempre si muovono dietro le guerre nazionali e “per procura”. 

Far emergere come in tutte le guerre, così come in ogni movimento di ribellione e rivolta, come la questione fondamentale sia di classe e non nazionale. 

In ogni sciopero, corteo, assemblea, comitato o protesta, costruire ed organizzare l’opposizione al militarismo imperialista e ai sacrifici dell’economia di guerra, significa praticare e sostenere il terreno dell’anticapitalismo, dell’alternativa rivoluzionaria. Non esiste altra possibilità. 

Le parole d’ordine di “pace e pane” per l’umanità intera possono essere garantite solo dall’ affermarsi del programma rivoluzionario. Ciò richiede che già oggi ogni militante internazionalista e ogni lavoratrice e lavoratore cosciente pongano all’ordine del giorno la costruzione consapevole ed organizzata di questa prospettiva.

The tendency toward generalized war marches at giant strides and, for the bourgeoisie, it represents the only possible response to the structural crisis—unresolved, unresolvable, and further aggravated by the introduction of the new technological revolution of AI—of capitalism 4.0.
The Russian-Ukrainian and Israeli-Palestinian conflicts, and now those of the USA and Israel against Iran, express the full nature of the imperialist war that characterizes them. Beyond the particularities, the flags, and the nationalist or religious reasons waved by one side or the other, the various acting parties are elements of the more general inter-imperialist conflict that permeates the entire globe—albeit at different levels and on different planes—pouring with increasing violence onto the exploited class.
Economic crisis and imperialism are two terms that feed each other, as we had already experienced with the interruption of Russian oil supplies to Europe and as we are experiencing in these weeks with the blockade in the Persian Gulf.
From the moment it defends its own interests, every sector of the national bourgeoisie positions itself within a field of the imperialist partition of the world; whoever decides to support it also supports, regardless of intentions, one of the imperialist camps.
The most immediate and evident aspects of direct or indirect participation in war processes are: militarist propaganda, the implementation of rearmament policies, the authoritarian tendencies that lead to the restructuring of social relations, the most ferocious repression of opposition and class forces—as in Iran—and the increasingly marked exploitation and deterioration of the conditions of the working and exploited class.
It is evident that no solution to the progression of crisis and war can exist while remaining within the very system that produces them. Class interests are irreconcilable: on one side, the bourgeoisie as the ruling class, totally integrated into the imperialist perspective; on the other, the proletarian class, destined to suffer the increasing costs and sacrifices that crises and wars require, eventually becoming “cannon fodder” as is already happening in Ukraine, Gaza, Lebanon, and the Middle East in general, in Iran, in vast regions of South America, in the states of Sub-Saharan Africa, and in Southern Asia.
And yet, in recent years, something has moved: from Nepal to Indonesia, from Morocco to Kenya, from Madagascar to Ecuador, from Peru to the Philippines, we have recorded important movements within the crisis. Uprisings of short duration and with confused perspectives, but radical, led mostly by the young proletarians of those countries, moved by the worsening of their material conditions. We believe these movements indicate the concrete possibility of an alternative, starting from the periphery of capital.
The conditions of the proletarian class are common and make it a world class, the only one that can realize class perspectives—that is, to overthrow capitalism to build a society for the safeguard of the human race.
WHAT IS TO BE DONE THEN?
Fight nationalism and all other forms of ideological, patriotic, and religious mystification with which governments justify imperialist war. Unite the struggle against the sacrifices imposed on us with the struggle against the war participation of “our” bourgeoisie.
Give no support of any kind to any “nationalism,” not even that which presents itself as “anti-imperialism,” wherever it comes from, as it is inevitably part of one or the other of the imperialist camps that always move behind national and “proxy” wars.
Ensure that in all wars, as in every movement of rebellion and revolt, it emerges that the fundamental issue is one of class and not of nation.
In every strike, march, assembly, committee, or protest, building and organizing opposition to imperialist militarism and to the sacrifices of the war economy means practicing and supporting the terrain of anti-capitalism, of the revolutionary alternative. No other possibility exists.
The slogans of “peace and bread” for all of humanity can be guaranteed only by the affirmation of the revolutionary program. This requires that every internationalist militant and every conscious worker, already today, places the conscious and organized construction of this perspective on the agenda.
Revolution is a necessity.
